• Brought in at short notice to project manage and lead the village management team. I planned, delivered and managed the detailing across the sites of the entertainment, workshops, international zone, village guide, wellbeing, hair and beauty and recreational facility packages to 4 national sites for over 5,000 athletes. This was brought in under budget by 30%. • Built up and project managed a team of 40 paid staff and volunteers and placed according to their individual strengths to ensure full productivity and maximize efficiency to the stake holders requirements. • Also a client facing role that included arranging site tours for dignitaries, the Commonwealth board and the media including assisting in the welcome ceremonies for the athletes. • This was a fast paced environment that meant the team and myself had to work to very strict timescales, frequently under pressure on multiple tasks.
