Athletes Services Manager

• Brought in at short notice to project manage and lead the village management team. I planned, delivered and managed the detailing across the sites of the entertainment, workshops, international zone, village guide, wellbeing, hair and beauty and recreational facility packages to 4 national sites for over 5,000 athletes. This was brought in under budget by 30%. • Built up and project managed a team of 40 paid staff and volunteers and placed according to their individual strengths to ensure full productivity and maximize efficiency to the stake holders requirements. • Also a client facing role that included arranging site tours for dignitaries, the Commonwealth board and the media including assisting in the welcome ceremonies for the athletes. • This was a fast paced environment that meant the team and myself had to work to very strict timescales, frequently under pressure on multiple tasks. You had to be adaptable and think on your feet
