Role Summary
The Event Manager will lead high-impact, project-based events over 6 months. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering major initiatives, Programs, Events and identifying Sponsorship partnerships, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes for our forthcoming flagship events.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage end-to-end execution of major projects, including Awards, Marathon events and large-scale campaigns
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and task trackers
Lead sponsorship strategy, including identifying prospects, outreach, discussions, and coordination
Coordinate with partners, speakers, vendors, sponsors, and internal teams
Oversee event logistics, branding, compliance, and risk management
Monitor progress across multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met
Represent the organisation in sponsor and partner discussions
Prepare post-event reports, impact summaries, and sponsor reports
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience managing large or multi-stakeholder events
Proven ability to handle sponsorship discussions and negotiations
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Experience with budgeting and vendor management
Comfortable working in a project-based, time-bound role
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Excel, Zoom, Canva
A minimum of two years' experience in organising and managing events.

Successful delivery of Awards and Marathon projects
Sponsorship targets met or exceeded
Timely project completion with clear documentation
